I think I am remembering from our wonderful times together as Christians, and I said something about what in the world were you doing in Hitler youth. I can remember her face now looking at me with a very her, "oh, come on..." smile, and I now I can almost see her.
She said, "I was just a little girl. What do you think? It was fun for us then."
When I was reading your post I remembered that. And I also think she said they got good things to eat.
It's very true. What else in the world could it have been but fun for a bunch of little kids?
Anyway, yes, it's always a joy to discuss Sabina. She makes a very deep and lasting impression on anyone, and I count it great gain that I ever knew her.
I personally was never quite sure about Kathryn Kuhlman, and I loved the woman, and I was sure she was extremely special, but you know, I still wondered a little if it was all real.
Kathryn came to Eureka CA once and Sabina came all the way up from her property just to see for herself if Kathryn was real. She wasn't saved yet, just really, really close and still checking us all out very close. She left when Kathryn called people up around her. After it was over Sabina said that the power of God was all over the area where Kathryn was "and it was hard to stand up". So then I knew without a doubt at all that Kathryn K. was exactly as we understand her to be, and not anything else. Sabina felt that was what more than anything led to her complete conversion, was the
power of God around Kathryn that she had no more doubt, since Kathryn was so fixed on Jesus Christ it is almost without compare. |
