Thanks for the input John. I have been buying the GAP at 43 and selling at 46. I have NO idea where it will go but a lot of times stocks will retrace themselves.
That was why I asked what broker recommended that it be sold short. With this market I am reluctant to sell ANYTHING short.
I follow about 50 stocks and own about 40 of them. At some time during the year some news will take every one of them down and NOTHING goes up forever. I always buy on bad news and usually sell covered calls against the stock immediately after buying. Each month less than 50% are called so I just sell the next months calls. My IBM 105 March expired today so IF it gets around 104 I will sell the calls again.
Often I can do better selling calls than buying and selling the stocks. Sorry I kind of got carried away.
