Bill, I must respectfully disagree with your conclusion.

Peggy is to blame for RYO's current woes. She has been a ball breaker from day one. The BC government, although they are interested in creating employment in a province which is in a near recession situation, will not come to Peggy's rescue. Why should they. She moved her company's head office to the US for her personal tax situation and she has tried to break the back of unions in the Yukon. The Government (which has a very socialist bent) do not have the money to bail out RYO and what would they preserve - nada. The jobs associated with Kemess will come about if RYO operates Kemess or someone else operates it. Why do they need to support RYO.

From day one Peggy has not delivered. She overpaid for a variety of assets on the basis that she could turn them around. She took off the company's hedge book at an inopportune time (probably didn't have a choice), she paid herself a huge bonus in 1997, she has mislead the market regarding the cash costs of Kemess; a $1.00 credit for copper - it's now trading at $0.79 - who is she kidding. What are the details of the copper contract they signed with the Koreans.

Peggy has not delivered. Didn't she have a margin call and have to sell some shares. She got better than a C$1.10 I bet.

What a piece of work. Miss Piggy indeed.
