HD-ROM is for very high end storage - no one is going to be selling HD-ROM players instead of VCRs or installing HD-ROM drives in mainstream PCs! At least not for the next 5-7 years... 165 Gigs will be useful for the very very high end folks. And I mean VERY high end. You fellows worry too much! DVD has arrived. The $149 drives are the proof.
