Does anyone have an opinion on the use/attributes of the MACD indicator for intraday signals? I've been trying to optimize several standard indicators but I'm finding it difficult to configure the MACD parameters to provide clearer/more accurate confirmations of trends on , say, a 5-min chart of one of the more liquid stocks. Does anyone have an optimization of the standard 7.5/15/20% ema's?
