Believers ...
If you know about CCURs RT products (the only game in town), and have read their annual report on expansion of these RT designs into RT IVoD (which has strict time dependencies, and you see how they have healed the financials) .... it was an easy bet that this egg would hatch.
They have the product, the passion, and a solid bank of very happy customers. CCURs stuff just plain WORKS.
It is rare to find a company hitting on all cylinders. They are pioneering the IVoD marketplace and like anything new, the market requires a variety of other factors to come together besides a good server.... set-top boxes, MPEG content (Holywood titles and licenses), cable modulators, low-cost IP networking, and PC MPEG players. These are now hitting critical mass. CCUR could do little more to accelerate them over what they have done.
If you exit now, yes you will have a nice gain from $2, but this chick has hatched and she's sproutin' feathers.
I think the recent BUYING has been from other long-time believers that knew CCUR would "one day" reemerge as a serious force since they are very sound as a company. These people didn't lock their money in (like some of us have) until it seems everything has come together. That time is now.
NAB, a springtime event, is usually when companies have to be "ready" to shine, and people believe CCUR is ready and NAB will be the show for them to be on stage. No one has shown a serious IVoD system at NAB, .... and CCUR's system might just steal the show.
It is still irratating that this many shares can be traded and no one here or on Yahoo has any specifics. Not even a good rumor.
I still say ....buy more. |
