g'day, FP, Mang & all- FP, indeed, welcome. Always glad to have people with your expertise to share knowledge.
Mang, you sez "I'm not a networker, I just buy and sell stocks !! again, welcome onboard ! (why am I saying this ? I don't even have a position in BAY !)" This is called the ex-wife/2nd wife syndrome <VBG> Now that you ve married to another, but you still can't let go of all the good times and bad of the 1st <VBG>
Mang, you are giving too much credit to the purchasers of networking gear. I mean, do you really think we ve to foresight to say: "since xyz networking co has not lay out the next generation of [vapor]switch, therefore, even if this existing product can give our co the best ROI in the shortest time, we ain't gonna buy it?" Rather, most of the so-called tech infrastructure people tend to believe, rightly or wrongly so, that the CSCO, MSFT, used to IBM of the world should be their standard bearers, because by doing so, they won't lose their jobs! Ok, admittedly, these cos don't get to Numero Uno for no reason. And many have been able to stay focused; however, I am pretty sure the demise of IBM in the early 90s is probably a must case study of most of the B schools in this and other countries.
Personally, I think BAY has the work cut out for her, but she is in the right direction
