I like Continental Energy (V.KK), a small Canadian company currently trading on the VSE. It just acquired a 25% interest in a project in Texas called the Star Project. According to the most recent press release, current production from 3 wells is 600,000 cubic feet per day. They are planning on reentering and reworking 12 existing bore wells capable of at least 250-400,000 cubic feet of gas per day each.
If you add the current production and the additional capacity from reworking the existing old wells, you come up with some pretty nice cash flow for a small company. Plus, they have hired OTC Communications to act as its public relations representative.
Good story + promotion = stock appreciation.
