Some sage advice:

Don't make company press releases the cornerstone of your investing research! SEC filings are more valuable. CopyTele's filings very clearly lay out the state of the company, financially and otherwise.

Analysis probably means little with respect to COPY, though. As you cite they have been in R&D mode since 1982 and have produced nothing tangible. Yet the stock has gone through wild gyrations; arguably the company has become irrelevant. COPY is a stock driven by rumour, wishful thinking, short squeezes, and pure speculation. Probably a good short candidate if you can stomach 100% - 300% paper losses. If you go out on margin to short it at $2.875 though be prepared to get squeezed.
