Althought AMEX and NASDAQ's fundamental exchange system is drastically different per se, they both are based on the same principals. Unilateral price fixing as well as short-selling anytime (public can only short on up/zero ticks) are the main difference between THEM and YOU, but are common among these two exchanges.
