Dylan,

Good for you. However, if you've read any Wm O'Neill or Stan Weinstein, you would have violated one of the tenets of their method. That is, never short a stock with a RS and EPS greater than 80 and never short a stock that is above it's 200 day MA.

My read on the success of your short is the downside risk that the charts are showing us on the Nasdaq rather than any overextended buying of GATE (however, one may beget the other). Based on market action as a whole, the technical indicators I have show the Nasdaq has to fill in some gaps before it will turn back to the upside.

I'm curious as to what prompted you to short GATE. The recent runup or the market in general?

Jeff
