Dear Kenneth:
I can't believe the rhetoric on AG. I guarantee you have never heard as spirited discussion, accusation, as there, in court. I ,m letting them duke it out.
There is one way that a person can get to heaven without belief in Jesus Christ that all on AG have overlooked. I guarantee that God will let a person spend all eternity there with Him if they meet one condition. Live all your days out on earth and never commit one sin. If we could do that then what need do we have of separating the belief in God and Christ and getting into endless discussions of getting to God with or without Christ.
They are saying that i. e. praying to God, by way of the trinity you are also praying to Christ, so a Jew for example is also praying to Christ or a Muslim; sounds simple enough to me, I'll buy that.
Here is the catch, the Muslim must also believe that Christ came to earth, died on the cross for the redemption of sins and stay with me;;;big point;;rose again. If Christ had not risen from the dead, then his dying on the cross would have been in vain. This is such a critical point that it is not understood too well by many. Why is it such a valid point?
You wouldn't want a dead lawyer representing you in court would you. It is not just the fact that Christ paid for our sins but that he is interceding for us for all eternity. Think what would happen if God allowed just one sin into heaven. The whole system would come crashing down, and God would no longer be righteous. If a Muslim, does not know Christ then no retainer in the world would be enough to get Christ to represent him.
WOAH !! The catch is. What would you call a lawyer who only represents his friends, or going a step further only those who represent family members, brothers and sisters, and they have to be friends too. That is one exclusive lawyer but I lay claim to His eternal services and guess what He paid the fee for me.
Ask me why I love Him so,,for I am guilty as Sin, and He got me off scott free .. In Christ.gregor |
