ABZstatus
1) budgeted 4.3 million on drilling four previously discovered pipes outside of those in the proposed mine plan (going to check the grade)
2) LDC mini-bulk sample is being taken from A-11 North. Previous results 2.5 macros and 4.6 micros per 10 kg. No carat results yet. Macro count is good.
3) 60 aeromagnetic targets were identified earlier this year. Means they've got lots to test.
4) they've been trying to find the source for A369 for quite awhile.
If they do find it, it should be a humdinger but previous attempts
came up empty. Not sure but they probably will take another shot at
finding it. Maybe someone could fill us in on this anomoly. I vaguely
remember them trying to find a pipe that had an implied grade similar
to the Misery pipe of DMM. The grade for Misery was spectacular but
the value per carat was low.A pipe like Misery with high carat value
would be better than anything found so far.
5)Drilling for base metals in jv with HSD. Sunrise Lake. Silver, lead,
zinc. Program is supposed to have begun at end of Feb. If they really
did start drilling at the end of Feb.,they should have a lot of
core by now.
6) As far as I've been able to ascertain, nothing significant turned
up in Greenland.
7) Because they opted out of part of WSP's drilling program, I think
a lot of people have got it in their heads that ABZ opted out altogether but that is not accurate. They are jv'd for some of the
drilling.
