Sadly, it would seem the charming James Flynn indeed is gone. Some of his stuff was quite witty. He reminded me of Norm Crosby. Remember him? Funny guy!

M'thinks Our Man Flynn may have gone overboard celebrating Saint Patrick's Day with a little too much Bushmills and got himself bushwhacked. Some of the stuff our fine Irish lad posted last night may have been a little over the top, even for SI's liberal policies. I saw some discussion of Mr. Flynn on other threads. Those posters seemed most unappreciative of Mr. Flynn's literary talents.

Perhaps you could e-mail him or private-message him. I'm sure he must be down in the dumps over this and hearing from you may cheer him up. Who knows, Kev, you may make a cyberfriend if you do--one who would share one of your pet interests. I've made lots of cool friends with e-mail.

If you hear from him, give him and his wife a big "HELLO" from all of his cronies at SI. You'll let us know how he's doing, won't you?
