If I have inadvertently questioned his veracity, I take off my polish blacksmith hat, hold it in my hands and say "I am sorry"!
I like hats, but I would be loath to eat one, even with good wine!!
My teeth are not as good as they once were, if you know what I mean. My dentist says he can sharpen them up for about $4000.00. So it would cost me at least that to "eat my hat, or any other".
I have had Globalitis for some time, and I would truly hate, hate, hate being wrong and having to pay my dentist $4000 to eat my hat!!!
