I subscribe to the VectorVest daily service and it has some very good strengths, but one must be aware of the limitations associated with these strengths.

VectorVest is essentially a mechanical system which is designed to help one compare one stock against another. It is very useful as a screening system to pick out stocks which meet a certain set of criteria. Program in those criteria and then search the universe of stocks (basically NYSE, AMex and NASDAQ) to find those stocks which one wishes to research more fully. Follow the daily figures ... in chart form for subscribers ... and note the changes in the daily VectorVest numbers over time.

(Over time, VectorVest has had the same dismal view of RNTK, except that it has raised the Relative Timing figure from "never gonna do nothing " to "pretty soon now", as RNTK's stock chart represents.)

As TokyMex pointed out, VectorVest does not track the "story" of any stocks nor does it track news ... past, present, or near-future ... except insofar as the news already has affected the stock's price.

(Also note that you can get a free analysis of three stocks per day from the VectorVest Web site. But the subscription is a far better value.)
