There are going to be zillions of players in the broadband modem area. Here's some additional names I posted a while back if you're interested in a few more: Message 2795511 As far as the S-1 (and the up-coming S-1/A's): dry, very dry, and very long. But there's no better un-hyped source available (so un-hyped in fact that you generally don't walk away with a very good feeling about ANY company after reading them). But, there isn't really any other place that talks about the risks involved, and you almost always find a few very real risks that you hadn't considered before. dh
