Dear chirodoc-

What do you think of this prudent lending activities of Japanese what we errorneously term as credit crunch-- I think selective lending with a stimulus package can be an intial sign of a solid turn around anyway Nikkei is up 9% for 98 and if we trail anywhere near France's CAC 40 we can go as high as 23%-- imagine if we have this blow out - as you are well aware above 17000 most of Japanese bank fulfill the 8% adequacy requirements -- I will also appreciate some thoughts on Japanese financial year end. Your input on these issues shall be highly appreciated. Ever grateful Ike
