X--Saw PRIMARY COLORS last night. Elaine May's writing was brilliant and acting by all was excellent. Billie Bob Thornton as James Carevel(SP) was academy award crazy stuff. I mostly liked the movie as my comments so far would suggest. But, I came away disturbed, not by Clinton/Hilary shenanigans(she was pretty well white-washed in the movie portrayal), but by the feeling that I liked the Clintons more after the movie than before. It is a strange kind of propaganda that Nichols and May have done and surprisingly complementary to Prez. Partly it was Travolta/Thompson and partly that the film reveals/suggests the first couples great complexity. I would be interested in others responses to the movie. Myron
