Sorry if this news has been posted, but Iomega International announced that Siemens Nixdorf, Fujitsu and Maxdata are going to include Zip as standard in some upcoming models. The news regarding Fujitsui is particularly interesting since it was an early adopter of LS-120 in Europe. Here is a quote:

<<Iomega International, a subsidiary of Iomega Corporation, has announced
that three leading European PC manufacturers - Siemens Nixdorf, FUJITSU
Computer and Maxdata - are to incorporate the internal Zip 100MB drive
into selected configurations as a standard component.

Siemens Nixdorf is to integrate the internal Zip drive into its
entry-level SCENIC Mobile 320 notebook computer as well as the SCENIC
Mobile 710, high-end multimedia notebook computer. The company also has
plans to include Zip Built-In for future products aimed at the high-end
corporate market in mid 1998.

FUJITSU Computer is creating the 'FUJITSU Zip-PC' - a new PC
configuration featuring Zip Built-In for the German SoHo market which
will be sold through its end-user catalogue. FUJITSU Computer will also
offer Zip Built-In as an option on any FUJITSU PC product as part of a
build-to-order programme

Zip Built-In will also be found in the new Artist PC Office Zip Classic
200Mhz from Maxdata. Targeted at the business and professional customer,
this new PC, part of Maxdata's Classic Line, will soon be available in
Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.>>
