Sourdough, Happyman- I attempted to contact both of you privately, but the SI system would not take the message. I live in Juneau and operate a value added seafood operation in Kake. My plant uses state of the art waste heat technology. I recover waste heat via heat exchangers from the community diesel fired electrical generators to dry seafood for domestic and export markets. I became interested in BAAT in order to reduce my electrical costs as a potential customer and became an investor after performing due diligence. My first shares were at .44
As far as investements go.. BAAT is a risky investement and I suggest that nobody invest anything that they cannot afford to lose. I enjoy watching an underdog shake things up, and BAAT has the potential to shake things up. Kinda like Northwestern when it went to the Rose Bowl. The difference is that BAAT is financially solid and could raise capital very quickly if they had to sell some technology or rights to it cheap. At this point in time, the positives of BAAT far outweigh the negatives to hold onto this investment and to patiently let it grow.
BAAT stock will appreciate as events unfold, but it will require patience to allow management to put strategies and negotiations in place. No company is going to throw money at BAAT until these companies perform their own due diligence. BAAT technology will be unveiled for what it is....a radical improvement in the internal combustion engine. As far as credibility, BAAT holds too many world records on too many technological fronts for the skeptics to discount this easily. Unfortunately some shareholders bought this because they smelled easy money and were prey to their own greed.
There are over 30 Market makers of BAAT according to Brian Davis at BAAT. Most shareholders own less than 5000 shares. One broker bragged that he personally made over 3 million dollars since BAAT went to the .50's and started back up. Why did the stock go down to .50? Because a fool and his money are soon departed. The sound of sirens wailing and cries of paid chicken littles are for children who did not perform their own research into BAAT to be so easliy swayed to sell their shares to manipulators. It appears to me that if someone on this thread or on any other thread cannot deny that they are on the take from a market maker, then they are on the take from a market maker. (I hope the SEC has requested Yahoo and SI records of the identity of all hyping and bashing posters). Unfortunately, many of these paid vermin prey on the daily fears and greed of those who bought for a get rich quick stock. Panic selling and panic buying is what these folks are trying to get others to do.
Alternative fuels and efficient engines is where the long money is. The short timers are here to make waves of doubt and to castigate so there will be many spikes up and down. This is technology...just like satellite telephone technology that was pioneered in Alaska, frozen ground oil drilling, building on permafrost and a host of other things that sKeptics claimed that could not be done ... were done here in Alaska. It appears, so too will BAAT prove to all those that are skeptical( or who are paid to be skeptical) just like all the fools who said the oil pipeline couldn't be built on frozen ground...and after it was built then said it will leak all over the tundra. We never hear from those idiots now..just like their current brethren will pass into obscurity, but alas....the threads now allow a permanent record to perpetually torment those who prove out wrong.
Personally I can afford to lose every penny invested in BAAT and I can at least say that I was entertained by the cast of characters on the Yahoo board who remind me of the SouthPark children. Hell I don't even have to buy cable to get the comedy channel. A year from now, all of these posts could be wrapped up into "The BEST of BAAT" and a national bestseller could be in the works. Hell who knows, maybe this is a way some of the bashers can make some money off of BAAT yet. Kind of like a retirement plan for paid bashers.
Don't get me wrong..negative and provocative questions are not bashing. I respect those that quest for insights, knowledge and unique perspectives. I welcome those to persuade me to change my opinion on BAAT, but do it with facts and solid logic and not the pulp fiction that has been so ever present.
Happyman and Sourdough, we will have to have coffee, look me up whenever you stop in Juneau.
