Mephisto, our trade deficit is about the highest ever, remember back in 1987, as the deficit went up our stock market went down the shute. Is the market about to go down this time? An interesting number that I just calculated, at the top of the market in 1987 till now, when we are at 8900, the annual gain computes out to only 10%. Another factor, Barrons seems to think, or one of their editiorialists, that gold is ready to rise again soon. BTW, did yu get the Esquire yet.
