Mohan Steven venkie paul 3 and all others "in the know", I have the following PC quote in front of me from a "HOUSE BRAND" p266 w/mmx 64 mb ram 17" svga monitor 64 bit video card w/ 4mb 6.4 gb hard drive 3.5 floppy drive 24 speed cd rom drive ensoniq wave table sound card w/speakers & sub woofer 56k internal fax/modum usr 3 com 10/100 tp network card ms natural keyboard ms intelimouse microsoft office 97-professional windows nt 4.0 workstation COST= $3162.00 I am not that computer saavy and thought that on a slow Sun am, I could enlist some advice from the experts??? I want to buy a Dell! The above price sounds high concidering the current market scenario.. Would prefer a 333mhz.. Also, I thought I read a while ago on this thread of someone who recently bought a Dell and was told that if within a given time period if the pricing went down Dell would refund the difference???? Any HELP will be tremendously appreciated, and this will in a small way nibble away at the WHITE BOX market! Thomas Thomas
