Stephan,

The only explanation I can come up with, is that most of the trading in MVIS seems to occur in the morning session. There are, of course, some transactions in the afternoon, but rarely seem to do anything else but hover around the prices settled in the morning. Exceptions (mainly) for periods where things really boom.
To your question, I only think it's because people have done their trading for the day, even if movement is presented later on. Maybe Friday's an odd one, in that it's weekend. Be fun to see what happens on Monday.

Stricktly on the closing prices, MVISWs are now sold with lesser potential than the shares (when only looking at the 'max.' potential of the wts. when the shares reach $24). Haven't seen that for a long time.
