Well, MJB, let's talk reality a moment. A machine gun is a great analogy. Used on most of the threads where the drunks and pagans go almost all the time. So much so it's been reported to SI many times, there is even a thread where half the pagans hang out and discuss their warnings from Jill.
Good for Jill. May our Lord keep Jill with a pure and decent heart.
You and I understand each other. I would even say that you and I, strangers or not, even love each other in a pure sense. And you were one of the few that ever came here until recently. We had Lenni, a dear and totally polite man who simply said he didn't believe in Jesus and asked questions. It was wonderful having him here. I miss him. His friends would come and ask questions. Then, of course, in time they would get bored with it and leave. But the unsaved were constantly popping in and out here and everyone was always very happy to see them. With Shalom basically steering the ship, it maintained a very sweet and godly order, regardless of silly and pointless doctrinal and overly scholarly disputes between believers. Straining at tiny little bugs in the air while swallowing a whole camel.
Machine action against what seems like a platoon of organized snipers is often the only way to escape such a fruitless mess.
If you accuse me, that is. And you're free to do so. |
