My $.02 why selling itis hard.... The current product is mainly aimed at external wound closures like cuts etc. Well, working in the medical field, let me share some of my observations with you... Medicine is a field where traditions are hard to break down... Stitching is and will still be a basic skill for most doctors..Yes, private practitioners and vets may be able to use this product, but the entire premise of profits is really in the ER. Well, there is the problem.. A significant percentage of the hospitals are teaching hospitals and this is where a lot of trainees get their stitching training....Little motivation for the attendings to use anything else, after all the newbies need to have this skill, whether there is a glue available or not... Internal use could be quite interesting buth I think all agree that it is far from happening.... One last question to all of the people on here...As investors we can look at it objectively and say wow.. what a great idea...However, when you think of yourself as a patient in the ER with a wound closure problem, I'd still go for the good old stitches myself.... So innovation is not all of the game.. Educating the market and proving the product, gaining credibility is a very important part of it... Especially in the medical field where stakes are high....
