Anything that introduces an unknown (politics) into the equation causes jitters and uncertainty in the market. Hence more volatility in stock and bond prices. As to what you say about the already assumed outcome is correct but the uncertainty now is who gains or remains in control of congress. Besides, life would be boring without something to shake everything up. Buy on weakness and sell on strength. see ya tomorrow. Rich K.
