Sam,

If you can log on from other computers you probably
know your yahoo password for my.yahoo.com, if not,
go to their personalize page option and have them
e-mail you your password.

Then try clearing your web browser's cache of all the
.GIF files, which can overload the system when you get much
over 500-1000 files or so in the cache.

The cache directory can be in different places
depending on which browser you use, but there
should be a whole mess of GIFs with meaningless
alphanumeric names in a directory labeled
"temporary" or "internet" files.

If that doesn't solve the problem, just delete the
cookies file, and go back to my.yahoo.com and reinitialize
a new cookies file with that password (and any other
passwords you might have for my.excite.com, etc.).

If you're using Netscape 4, it seems that
you have to do all this manually. BTW, I've found
that IE 4 is much better than Netscape 4,
if that's what you're using, especially in terms
of how IE 4 keeps track of all the passwords you
need for all the web sites accessed.
