Amoco Corp.'s income BEFORE taxes will be CUT cut by about $55 million this year because of costs involved in fixing the company's computers so they can read dates starting in the year 2000. The computer upgrades will cut income by a total of about $100 million over the three-year period ending in December 1999, according to the company's annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

I pity people holding mutual funds ... as Y2K disclosures increase. This is just a drop in the bucket. Tip of the iceberg.
