If you go to the Cyberguard Web sight you will find an interesting piece of information. The new Firewall 2.2 release is a hardware/software solution. It uses the Nighthawk system from Concurrent. Big order to Cyberguard for this product would be a big order for Concurrent. Cyberguard has not really broken out into the market for it's Firewall product yet. They are also in a crowded and infant market for encryption and authentication for E-commerce. They may have some exciting stuff in the future. Can't see how the two companies fit together except that Scientific Atlanta, Web TV and everyone else in this digital universe is going to have to provide for E-commerce. While I wouldn't rule anything out, it was the Harris shareholders who were against buying out Concurrent because they felt the real value and multiple expander was the firewall software biz, causing the sale of realtime division to Concurrent along with Harris management. Corky isn't the most savvy silicon valley type out there, but he was sharp enough to see that the real time software and experience of Concurrent and Harris realtime was a perfect fit (killer app) for IVOD. These guys will hit pay dirt in spite of themselves, competitors or tech standard battles. Their product is flat out more cost effective than any traditional server and cheaper than solutions from NCUBE, SEACHANGE and others. Price and open platform standard with scalability and reliability will win substantial business over the next 3 years. IMHO
