The handle is what matters most. The Image URL and the HomePage URL are optional. You do not need to type "http://", but even if you do it's OK. Hit Connect to JavaTalk! Server to login. Type your message in the box next to the "Type here:" label. (I know you're thinking "What does he think, that I'm stupid or something?") Press Enter to send the message. Double-Clicking on a user's handle will display the user's image (if any), name, e-mail and home page address. Clicking on the home page button will show the users home page if he/she entered one. To whisper (send a private message) select the group you want to whisper to in the list of participants. Type your message. Do NOT hit Enter! Hit Whisper instead!! To beep a user... same as whisper, except hit Beep instead. Enframe: pops JavaTalk! into an external window. Deframe: puts JavaTalk! back into the web browser's page (only if you haven't moved away from the page!) Rooms will display the list of all the rooms. Click on a room to see it's base URL and number of users (room description will be added RSN) Select a room and hit Jump to Room to move to a different room Touring: To send all the people in a room to a particular location, just type in the URL begnning with "http://" The URL detector can be disabled by checking the Ignore URLs checkbox. Disconnect will return you to the Login panel
