Enough already...there will be no buyout...this quarter at its worse will meet the streets number...the following quarters will be money makers....why...you don't do dog and pony shows every week talking to analyst and investors when you know you will be short...you hide from them. More importantly from a human perspective...Mory's honor is at stake, strange word in this Clinton era but in this case true...i.e. he told you it would be. The market will go up or it will go down but this stock will be higher than its been come the end of April or before.

Frank --

I agree with everything but your first sentence about buyouts. There, I think anything's possible. I'm absolutely convinced there'll be more consolidation and we all know telecommunications' giants need the networkers and vice versa. Based on everything I've read and heard, I'd say LU will get ASND and Siemens will get NN. COMS and CSCO have already swallowed behemoths of their own and in the process made themselves difficult for any predator to digest. I could be wrong though I've heard some fairly well-informed people in the industry say the same.

In the meantime what you say about ASND and dog and pony shows and M.E. needing to regain the confidence of the Street is absolutely correct. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been paying attention.

Later --
