More silver facts: WB's purchase weighs on my mind because I respect his insight, and wondered what implications it has for the long term, especially given his big positions in manufacturing companies. Manufacturing companies are TAVA's bread and butter. The best I've seen on WB's silver purchase is that the best batteries for use in electric cars are silver-zinc. These are used in space applications. With CA and other states about to require zero-free emissions for some cars, silver-zinc batteries will be the battery of choice, creating demand for silver that will outstrip already dwindling supply. So I don't think the silver purchase is a doomsday call on the stock market. I think it's positioning for an emerging industry that is "mandated" by enviromental concerns.
