CK: C'mon. The impact of 55 million dollars on Amoco's bottom line is miniscule. A little arithmetic shows that this will reduce Amoco's EPS by 8 cents a share in 98. They earned 5.55 per share last year and are expected to earn 4.69 this year. So y2k will have less than a 2% impact on EPS this year. That's negligible compared to oil prices fluctuations, etc. for this oil behemoth--less than statistical noise.
