To All,

If you haven't seen the message by Top Cat over on StockHouse, here's the link:

It's a logical analysis of the geology at Postma. I have a few comments of my own to add. First, we all know about CK's tight share structure. The trading has been consolidating in the low to mid-$0.70's for several weeks. The most recent private placement was done at $0.60 with $0.90 warrants. Options were recently granted at $0.72. The average price for the past month is $0.73. What does all of this mean? Well, to me it means that the insiders haven't made much, if any, money. Anybody who has been buying recently is getting stock for pretty much the same price as those who are presumably in the know. One of my rules of thumb is that it's VERY RARE for insiders to lose money. The bottom line is that they expect the price to be higher. I have no reason to expect anything else. When it does start to move due to results and/or promotion, it will happen quickly and dramatically (due to the small float).

It's very difficult to set a target price for something like CK. We know that diamonds are on the property based on historical records and the most recent news release. Quantity and grade are impossible to know at this point but they are what will ultimately determine how well the stock will do. I have to agree with Ruby's assessment that these guys must believe that they have a mine. Otherwise, they're going through a lot of trouble for nothing. With decent quality and/or quantity, we have to be conservatively looking at $2-3. If the bulk sampling indicates tens or hundreds of millions of dollars worth of diamonds, well, I'll just leave that as an exercise for the reader: $_______ :)
