Absence Everything tells me you're absent, and everything brings me your melody. The wandering birds singing, the sun stealing the scarlet of azaleas in the vases, are verses reminding me of you. The moon licking the quilts, highlighting our bed, is light in an empty cabaret. Pungent notes of a violin cross the room's walls, bringing our shadows dancing, saying you'll be mine, filling with your presence, my dream. Rosa Clement
