Hello Alan,

Welcome!

Anyone interested in the potential market for Rhapsody and thin client architecture should read this:

Message 3767257

As I understand it, Rhapsody would give access to Windows NT, Unix, IBM's OS2, and Macintosh OS 8.1. Not sure about Solaris. Not a bad deal for software flexibility. Expect AAPL to put on many blossoms once Rhapsody gains endorsement. What do you think would happen if IBM gets behind Rhapsody? If it is as solid as expected, there is no reason to believe that IBM would not want to offer it as an option with their thin client bundles.

Just thinking out loud.

Good hunting,
HerbVic
