Gulf, Talisman find gas in Indonesia

Gulf Canada Resources Ltd. and Talisman Energy Inc. yesterday
announced a potentially huge natural gas discovery in Indonesia.
Located on their jointly owned Corridor block, the first test of the
well floated a maximum rate of 10.2 million cubic feet per day.
"We've only tested the one zone, but it indicates a gas column
of at least 750 metres," said Gulf spokesman John Sparks.
"This could be a major gas discovery. We'll know by the end
of November."
