Dennis, I too applaud your constant efforts to keep us up-to-date on RAIN and a few other interesting situations in the market. I guess you would call me a "lurker" as I do check this thead almost daily but rarely post. However, I have enjoyed keeping up with RAIN and the banter between you, Marshall, Terry, Bob, and the rest of the SI RAIN thread. It is good to see the stock in the 30's now (just hope it stays in this range for a while) but realize that it could revisit the 28 - 29 area on a overall drop in the market (after the election?).

My wife and I will be flying from Panama to Orlando this Sunday and will be making a visit to the Rainforst Cafe at WDW to check out the place in person and are really looking forward to sampling their food and browsing through their store. I will bring along my trusty vidio camera to bring back some visual and audio impressions for some of my friends who have recently bought RAIN shares. Actually, we will be looking at Orlando as a retirement spot, but a visit to the Cafe will be an added bonus. If there is something you would like me to check on during my "field research" to the store, please let me know.

Following our stop in Orlando, we fly on to Baltimore, MD and will be making a detour to Tyson's Corner to check out the new store there. It will be especially interesting to compare the two places as this Cafe is one associated with an up-scale mall and a bit smaller compared to the "ICON" version at WDW. Will be taking notes and video clips for reference when we return home. Again, we will pass along our impressions and comparisons when we get back to Panama on Nov. 10th. I was a bit concerned by the two posts on Tyson's Corner from recent vistors there... quite a different story from each person. But, that is to be expected, especially during the opening of any new venture. We saw that during the opening of the first TGIFridays in Panama, as it must have taken them several months to fine tune the operation, but they are now on track and doing very well and the place is always packed.

Now that I have broken my silence, I've begun to ramble on and on. Anyway, Dennis, keep up the great work! I do enjoy my visits to this thead, but will probably continue to "lurk" in the background most of the time. I would like to also pass on my warm regards to the Marshall, Terry, Bob, Brent, and the rest of the RAINsters! Here's to a great earnings release in November and a nice boost to the 40s and beyond.. Let it RAIN! Mel Boreham
