Russell,

I'd like to personally thank you for all the time you have taken to organize this latest Certathon drive. It's a pleasure to see that our "old timer" group has been joined by an excellent group of new individuals who seem to be willing to make the extra effort to help bring this stock back to its true value.

This effort is certainly going to take more patience than the average investment. Going to the trouble (and in some cases expense) of getting the certificates pried loose from our brokers; watching the tape reflect the manipulations of Market Makers who do not have the best interests of the stockholders or the company in mind; watching the share price fall even as good news is released. These are all obstacles we will probably see in the days ahead. But, I hear the phrase quite often: "Patience is rewarded in the stock market", and for this stock, I believe the phrase will eventually fit.

I know we spend a lot of time on this thread talking about how to get certificates, how to cause a short squeeze, how the bid/ask spread during trading does not move when buys are made, and how the stock price does not move even when there is no stock to fill orders. It doesn't seem that much time is spent talking about the promise of Banyan Corporation itself. But the simple truth of the matter is that BANY, like so many other BB stocks is caught in the grip of a powerful short. The stock value is no longer tied to the fundamentals of the company. And as we have recently seen, it is not even tied to the buying and accumulating efforts by the shareholders of the company. Instead it is tied to the whims of a Market Maker who represents someone who may not even know the company's name.

No one knows even if this type of effort can succeed. And like so many of the efforts here on Silicon Investor that have similarly tried to cause a short squeeze, this one too may fail. But the one thought that keeps me going is this: Banyan Corporation has not failed to deliver on any of its promises so far in the time I have been a shareholder. I have received and continue to receive a high quality of service from BANY Investor Relations. The information I get from them may not necessarily be what I want to hear, but at least it is the truth.

My thinking is this: I believe Banyan Corporation is poised to achieve all the goals it has outlined for itself in the Investor Kit. I see those goals being achieved at about the same time our efforts here will have their maximum effect. In other words good news from the company will come to us right at the time when we will need it most. When the two efforts coincide, I believe all of us who participated will be very well rewarded.
