You mentioned the IKOS press releases. Any talk about their new emulation product. The old one didn't offer much competition, but the new one seems to have a lot to offer. In addition, given their performance enhancements are somewhat linked to FPGA's it would seem this gives them a competitive advantage (Quickturn uses ASIC's). Given that Ikos stock is at $8 /share with only 8-9 million shares outstanding and revenues of approximately $55 million, why doesn't Quickturn acquire them. I have to believe that Ikos is impacting pricing quite significantly in addition to the potential lost business. Seems like a no brainer to me.
