Eli, if SGI servers are as great as you say they are (...and I believe you, the long shareholder that I am...) then why doesn't SGI have a much greater percentage of general enterprise wide (non-visualization) business in this server category? Is it really just a case of poor marketing??? btw: A very reliable camel trader told me -just last night- that IRIX does not fair well against Solaris in the reliability department. Put another way, SGI's service require- ments negate its application in environments where maximum uptime is critical. He also pointed out a glaring void of general enterprise application solutions (like SAP for one) that lock SGI out of many deals. All this he said -before- we shut him off!!! Your take? Mathon
