You guys crack me up. Earlier on this thread all the nay-sayers were saying something similar to: "Talk about a red flag, geez, this guy Meatchum was associated with the auto-industry for chrissakes, why in the world would a company involved with the internet bring him in to head up things? This stinks of a scam." And now, somehow, Meatchum (still the same car guy) leaving for Kevin Rogers (an exec with a long history in an internet-related field) to take control is sending up a red flag? The link Matty provided (which, by the way, has been confirmed by no other source) even specifically mentioned that Meatchum was part of the initial team, which, to my ears at least, makes it sound as if he was only on board to get things started, at which point he would step aside for a more experienced person. Please, all ye sayers of nay, explain to me how this is to be seen as a sign of doom and/or gloom. |
