I don't know if that is the exact date but it should be close - the year 1999 LEAPS become essentially standard options around that time and new LEAPS - 1 year beyond the currently available "LONGEST LEAPS" (January/2000) will be added to the line up. Your philosophy of buying Intel when it is in disfavor is an excellent strategy - I'm certain that by January 2001, Intel will have recovered. The company's product portfolio, technology development and rate of innovation has always propelled it to new heights following downturns. Best of luck with your Intel 2001 LEAPS!
