Amazing! You signed up on SI and lo and behold, first peep out of you is your sincere belief that Nymox is not a scam and "you will wish
you were long this stock - as I am".

Since you've already told us you are a shareholder, it'll indeed be to your advantage if you got others to buy in and push Nymox up.

Let me try to respond to your arguments for Nymox:

Statement:"Sir: Carl Merril is one the leading names in AD research.."
Dr Merril's credentials is nothing less than spectacular- so why did he not published his research *first* and issue a press release about it? If you think publishing in the "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease" counts, please ask any respectable doctor in that field if they've heard of the magazine (located at pnpco.com. I'm willing to wager that Dr Merril's interest in this discovery is driven by the financial interest rather than the medicinal interest.

Statement:"NYMOX is not a fly-by-night company, it's going public was
the culmination of several years of very hard labour."
You said it, not I. I don't recall any news media referring to Nymox as fly-by-night, so rush to their defence?

Statement:"NYMOX (despite the rumors) is a real company with excellent scientists. They have patents which will soon make it into a
billion dollar company."
Even scientists makes mistakes- just ask the astronomers that miscalculated that comet's path and thought it was going to hit the earth.
The patents Nymox has is not for a drug - they do not have a patent which prevents other scientists from taking advantage of this discover (if it is one) and the subsequent novel treatment based on this discovery. Throwing the word "billion" in the sentence sounds more hype then fact to me.

Statement:"NYMOX doesn't claim to have reinvented the wheel - they claim to have made a breakthrough in understanding how one the world's most feared illnesses comes into being."
What is the so-called "wheel" in this example? Nymox claimed to have discovered someone no one has, and in the process attributed this structure to the cause of Alzheimer's. That sure sounds like the rhetorical wheel to me.

"When their science is verified (and it will be soon).."
When? Scientists don't gloat before their discovery is reviewed and published, companies do. Even then most pharmaceutical companies avoid the exposure because if anything, it gives their competitor a chance to catch up. Nymox's apparent willingness to share their discovery with the world isn't the best strategic move, unless of course they are using such publicity to raise cash.

If you're a long term investor (5 - 10 years at that), then Nymox might be a decent choice for speculative investment for you. But if you're a momentum trader- know when you've reached your limit and close your position accordingly.

Trivia - Dolly the clone was first revealed to the public a few days prior the detailed experiment being published. What journal did the media beat to the story?

Answer - Nature.
