Hi Frank. Another 9 hours and WS will be open for business. It looks like the DOW will be up again with Riyadh striking an accord on cutting oil output. I guess those oil cos. will be taking off today. I am sure that you have some of them. Japan seems to be coming out of their doldrums after April. Here is a link to that news. Maybe the Asian thing will blow over then. biz.yahoo.com Of course Malaysia has to put a damper on all this. It announced that there will be no control of Malaysian banks by foreigners. Yes, I had read that article you posted. I guess techs will still be slow for a while but they will turn around. I just recomm. to my daughter to buy CPQ for my grandchildren. With CPQ so cheap now they can buy 50 shares with the money they have acumalated since I was in Seattle last fall. What a bargain for them considering they are only 5 and 7. they also have some Intel and MCD. That should be quite a little nest egg by the time they go to college. Especially with that 1 billion computers connected. gg. Let's hope for a good day in the techs today. Sonny
