It is a non profit research organisation but assisting also researchers to form their own company. I do not know the patent situation at present but it seems to me that at least one of the big players, Siemens via their PC division Nixdorf, is involved since this device will be shown in Hannover in a Siemens-Nixdorf laptop. IMO it would be interesting to know which of the two systems will be first ready for a series production. With best regards Hans
