Hi Eric. I'm going to check out O'Shaughnessy's two books. I tend to favor an active approach on the buy side with lots of Sector/RS/chart/FA research and a more passive approach on the sell side using RS and simple FA only. A lot of us analyze various screen criteria to increase our knowledge and experience. It's also a lot of fun. There has got to be a simple approach to beat the S&P 500. If I had the time I would do a lengthy study involving RS and sectors only. Regards Duke
