Shorts are not welcome! Short positions are detrimental to all stocks - they often manipulate the stock price for their own profit by selling on weakness in order to initiate panic selling and eventually buy at a lower price (the only losers are those that sell). The reality here is AVL is still undervalued and with news pending on 2 drill programs, any one shorting the stock now would find themselves scrambling to cover at higher prices. DRT
