Greg: I don't get it. Tell me why a $1.50 rise in oil should cause the best of the computer makers to drop 10% to 15%. Dell's customers don't drive to the store to place their orders. The cost of orders they place on the internet will not rise. I understand Dell passes the cost of shipping computers on to its customers. The oil rise will not be disastrous for business as a whole. We all know we've been living on borrowed time with $1 per gallon gasoline ($1.20 for my premium guzzlers}. The Arabs will need new computers to count their cash flow, anyhow.
